Introducing the Challenger
Division
Serra Little League is pleased to introduce the new
Challenger division.
The Challenger division is a fun and exciting
division of play that provides boys and girls with mental and physical
challenges the opportunity to play baseball! The program is designed to
accommodate players aged 5 to 18, or any player still enrolled in high school.
In addition to learning the game of baseball, the value of the Little League
Challenger Division is found in the proven therapeutic and socialization
benefits of participating in sports; the strengthening of participants'
self-esteem; and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

be setting up our teams based upon needs and abilities, rather than age.
The Challenger division is supported by the "Buddy System", where
Little League volunteers, including other Little League players, will assist
our Challenger players during games. Challenger games will be held on the
Moreland Little League Complex and/or on other local Little League opponent
fields. Opponents are other Challenger Division teams in local Little League
programs.
